Ingredients For steakhouse sautéed mushrooms

1 Tbspbutter

1 Tbspolive oil

1 lbcremini mushrooms, sliced

freshly ground black pepper, to taste (i always use mixed peppercorns)

1 lgclove garlic, pressed

4-5 dashhot sauce such as cholula®, or to taste

2 tspfresh thyme, chopped
-
1 Tbspfreshly squeezed lemon juice
-
2 Tbspdry white wine
-
1/2 tspbalsamic vinegar
-
garlic salt, to taste

1 1/2 Tbspfresh parsley, chopped
How To Make steakhouse sautéed mushrooms

1In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil, swirling to coat; add butter. Add mushrooms and season with pepper. Cook until golden and tender, 5 minutes.

2Add garlic and hot sauce; sauté for 1 minute. Add thyme and lemon juice; cook until liquid evaporates. Add wine, reduce heat slightly, and simmer until mushrooms are glazed with the sauce. Add parsley and transfer to a bowl; serve immediately
