Ingredients For squash casserole

  • 6 c
    sliced yellow squash
  • 1 c
    diced celery
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onions
  • 1 can
    10 1/2 oz. cream of chicken soup
  • 3/4 c
    half & half
  • 4 oz
    buttered cracker, crushed
  • 1/2 stick
    butter
  • dash
    salt & pepper to taste

How To Make squash casserole

  • 1
    Simmer squash, celery, onions in water till tender. Drain add half & half to soup & pour over squash mixture.While still warm, Toss Lightly.
  • 2
    Melt half the butter in casserole, Then layer of cracker crumbs, then a layer of squash mixture. Repeat crumbs & squash layers ending with crumbs on top.

    Dot with other half of butter. Bake at 375 for 30-35 mins.
