My sister gave me this recipe back in 1978 and it has always been a favorite of mine.

Ingredients For squash casserole

2 lbyellow squash (cooked & drained)

2 lgeggs (beat until frothy)

1 smcan green chilies (chopped)
-
1 mdonion (chopped fine)

1 smjar cheese whiz
-
1 cancream of celery soup

buttered bread crumbs
How To Make squash casserole

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Butter a 9 x 13 dish.

2Spread cheese whiz on bottom of buttered 9 x 13 dish.

3Spread cooked & drained squash over cheese.

4Beat eggs until frothy, add chopped onion & green chilies. Spread on top of squash.

5Top with Cream of Celery soup (undiluted).

6Can also add buttered bread crumbs after it cooks for a while so they don't burn.

7Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in 375 oven.
