Ingredients For spicy tomatoes

6 lgripe tomatoes

1 lgenglish cucumber

1 mdsweet onion

1 mdbell pepper

3/4 ccider vinegar

1 1/2 tspcelery salt

1 1/2 tspmustard seed

1/2 tspsalt and pepper

3 Tbspsugar
-
1/8 tspcayenne pepper
-
1/4 cwater
How To Make spicy tomatoes

1Skin and quarter the tomatoes ( quick dip them in boiling water the skin will slip right off) Slice the green pepper into strips and slice the onion into rings..save the cucumber for a hour before serving to keep it from softening..Place veggies minus the cuke into a large bowl..,mix liquids and spices in a small sauce pan and bring to boil for 1 minute..while hot pour over the veggies..chill over night..serve as a relish or side dish.can bemade days ahead without the cuke
