Ingredients For spiced honey carrots

  • 16 oz
    pkg. peeled baby carrots
  • 1/4 c
    boiling water
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground cloves
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • grated peel and juice of 1/2 lemon

How To Make spiced honey carrots

  • 1
    In covered saucepan, cook carrots in gently boiling water with cloves and cinnamon, until just tender, 8-10 minutes; drain. Add honey, butter and lemon peel; heat. Makes 4 servings.
