Ingredients For blackened brussels sprouts!

11/2 lbfresh brussel sprouts

6 slicebacon
-
1 cchopped onion
-
1 cantomato sauce
-
2 tspchopped garlic
-
1 Tbspsugar
-
2 canwater in tomato sauce can

2 tspknorr tomato bouillon with chicken flavor

1/2 Tbspzatarain's garlic and herb seasoning

1 Tbsplemon juice
-
1 tspcoarse ground black pepper
How To Make blackened brussels sprouts!

1Prepare Brussels sprouts by rinsing with cold water, removing tough ends and slicing from top to half way down each sprout.

2Place bacon in hot deep frying pan. add chopped onion and brussel sprouts on top of bacon. After bacon is nice and brown, flip mixture till onions and brussel sprouts are in bacon drippings. Cook on medium high till sprouts are very brown on all sides.

3Pour 8 oz. of tomato sauce in pan and add tomato bouillon to water in can. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer till tender. 45 to 60 min.
