It is very important to use shoepeg corn (sweet, white, small kernel corn)...it really makes a difference. You can use green chilies if jalapenoes are to hot for your taste...but try it first with jalapeno - the flavor is great.

2-3jalapenoes - seeded and chopped (depending on how hot you want)

8 ozsoftened cream cheese

1 stickbutter

1/4 csweet milk

1/2 tspgarlic salt
How To Make shoepeg corn casserole

1Melt butter, cream cheese, milk, and garlic salt. Bring to a boil to make a sauce.

2Add drained corn and jalapenoes. Mix

3Put in 2 quart buttered dish. Bake 30 minutes in 350 degree oven. Double recipe for a 9x13 pan.
