Ingredients For sheet pan crispy cheesy oven-baked broccoli

1 lghead broccoli, cut into medium florets

2 Tbspextra virgin olive oil

1 tspkosher salt

2 Tbspunsalted butter

2 clovegarlic, minced or pressed

1/3 cpanko bread crumbs, plain
-
1/2 ccheddar cheese, grated
-
1/4 cparmesa cheese, grated
How To Make sheet pan crispy cheesy oven-baked broccoli

1Place oven rack in middle of oven and heat oven to 400 degrees. Preheat a rimmed baking sheet on middle rack.

2In a large bowl, toss broccoli florets with olive oil and kosher salt - mix well to ensure well coated.

3Add broccoli florets to hot baking sheet and roast for approximately 15 minutes or until florets are nicely browned - watch carefully.

4Combine butter and garlic in an oven-proof dish and place in the oven until butter melts - approx. 5 minutes. Place bread crumbs in a medium bowl and add butter/garlic mixture -- toss with a fork. Add cheddar and parmesan cheeses and toss to combine.

5Remove the sheet pan from the oven and sprinkle the broccoli with bread crumb mixture. Turn on broiler and place sheet pan on the upper rack for 1-2 minutes --watch carefully to prevent burning.

6Remove sheet pan and transfer broccoli florets to a platter or serving dish.
