Texas has some great mushroom farms at the market and green beans and jicama are already out from the local farms. I love anything with a little hint of Asian....these were tasty enough to enjoy by themselves ...

Ingredients For sesame mushrooms, green beans and jicama

1/2 lbfresh button mushrooms, sliced

4 tspsesame oil

3/4 lbfresh green beans, ends trimmed off

3/4 cjicama, peeled and sicedinto thin bite-sized pieces

2 clovegarlic, minced

1 Tbspwater
-
1 Tbspsoy sauce
-
1 Tbsphoney
-
1/2 tspkosher salt
-
1/8 tspblack pepper

3 Tbspsesame seeds
How To Make sesame mushrooms, green beans and jicama

1Preheat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the mushrooms to the HOT pan and let them sit for 2 minutes before flipping them to brown on the other side for 2 minutes

2Add the green beans and jicama; season with a pinch of salt and pepper

3Combine the water, soy sauce, honey, salt and pepper, to taste; mix well. Pour the sauce into the pan and cook the green bean mixture for 3-4 minutes, or until the green beans are tender-crisp. Remove from the heat and stir in half the sesame seeds.

4Place on serving dish and sprinkle with remaining sesame seeds.
