This is an easy "down-home" recipe. Add a 4 oz. can of chopped green chiles for a touch of spice.

Ingredients For scalloped corn

1/4 csugar

3 Tbspflour

2 tspbaking powder

1 tspsalt

6 lgeggs, beaten

2 1/3 cwhipping cream

1/4 cbutter or margarine, melted

6 cfresh corn kernels (can use frozen)
How To Make scalloped corn

1Combine first four ingredients.

2Whisk together eggs, whipping cream and melted butter. Gradually add the sugar/flour mixture, whisking until smooth. Stir in corn.

3Pour mixture into lightly greased 13x9 inch pan.

4Bake at 350 for 45 minutes until set. Let stand for 5 minutes.
