Love cabbage any way you fix it. This is a very good scalloped cabbage recipe and takes little preparation.

Ingredients For scalloped cabbage

  • 1
    medium head of cabbage
  • 1/4 c
    butter (do not substitute)
  • 1 c
    half and half
  • 1/2 c
    grated american cheese
  • 1 1/2 c
    town house cracker crumbs

How To Make scalloped cabbage

  • 1
    Chop cabbage course and add to 4 c. boiling water to which 2 tsp. salt has been added. Boil 5 minutes. Drain well and place in buttered casserole alternately with cheese and cracker crumbs. Add milk and dot butter on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 40 minutes. ENJOY!
