Ingredients For saffron brussels sprouts

  • 2 c
    brussels sprouts trimmed and cut in half
  • 1 c
    chicken stock
  • 1/2 tsp
    each saffron and curry powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    coriander
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp
    cold water

How To Make saffron brussels sprouts

    In a saucepan with boiling water blanch the brussels sprouts for 3 minutes. Drain.

    In a skillet add the chicken stock, saffron, curry, coriander. Add the brussels sprouts and simmer 4 minutes.

    Mix the water and cornstarch together and stir into the brussels to thicken. Taste and season with salt and pepper
