For some reason I was thinking about rutabagas today,actually I'm thinking of all kinds of food. I love them, this is how I cook them. Sometimes, I add carrots,that's tasty too!

Ingredients For rutabagas

rutabagas

onions,chopped

salt and pepper

vegetable broth
How To Make rutabagas

1Peel rutabagas,cut into bite size pieces. Melt butter in saucepan with rutabagas, onions,salt and pepper to taste. Stir until vegetables are well coated with butter. Add enough broth to cover. Cover pan,cook until vegetables are tender. Remove cover turn heat down and cook,shaking pan until rutabagas are slightly caramelized. May need to add more butter.
