How To Make rosemary bacon kraut
-
1Place sauerkraut in a colander to drain.
-
2Mince rosemary making sure to remove any bits of woody stem.
-
3Cut bacon into 1/2" pieces. I like to use kitchen shears.
-
4In a large sauce pan over medium heat, saute bacon in oil until medium crispy, about 8-10 minutes, stirring frequently. Add rosemary and cook stirring constantly for 30 seconds.
-
5Add sauerkraut and stir to combine. Reduce heat to low and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
-
6Remove to a serving bowl. Serve warm or refrigerate and serve cold. My family loves it with this mustard: https://www.justapinch.com/recipes/sauce-spread/dip/hot-and-sweet-whisky-mustard.html?p=29
