Ingredients For polynesian coleslaw

  • 3 Tbsp
    creamy peanut butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    vinegar ( rice wine vinegar) is best
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 clove
    garlic
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    tabasco sauce
  • 8 c
    shredded red cabbage or green cabbage
  • 1/2 c
    chopped cilantro
  • 1 lg
    red pepper thinly sliced
  • 4
    scallions sliced
  • 2 Tbsp
    sesame seeds

How To Make polynesian coleslaw

    In a large bowl stir together peanut butter, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, salt, and hot sauce.

    Stir in cabbage, cilantro, red pepper, and scallions.

    Refrigerate 1 hour.

    Heat dry skillet over medium heat.

    Add sesame seeds cook stirring until lightly browned 3-4 minutes.

    Remove from skillet and sprinkle over coleslaw.
