I love peas and especially enjoy them with meat loaf. Here's a simple version that makes a great side dish.

Ingredients For peas and mushrooms

2 10-oz pkgfrozen peas

2 cfresh mushrooms, sliced

1/2 conions, chopped

1/4 cbutter
-
1 tspsugar

salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make peas and mushrooms

1Cook peas according to package directions.

2Meanwhile, in a skillet, saute mushrooms and onion in butter until onion is crisp-tender.

3Drain peas and add to skillet along with the sugar, salt and pepper. Cover and cook until heated through.
