I take this dish to potlucks and it is always well received. I also serve this at family gatherings.

Ingredients For pea salad

  • 16 oz
    frozen peas, thawed and well drained
  • 1/2 c
    celery, chopped
  • 1
    small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 can
    water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped
  • 3 oz
    hormel real bacon bits
  • 8 oz
    sour cream
  • 1/2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 pkg
    dry ranch dressing mix

How To Make pea salad

  • 1
    Combine all ingredients, except peas, in a bowl until well combined.

    Gently fold in peas.
  • 3
    Cover and chill for several hours before serving.
