This is another recipe that I try to make taste like my Mama's. These are good, but they do not come close to hers.

Ingredients For pan fried squash

6yellow squash
-
1yellow onion, chopped

1/2 cbacon drippings
-
1 tspsalt

1 tspblack pepper

1 Tbspflour
How To Make pan fried squash

1Wash squash and slice.

2Place in a large saucepan, cover with water and boil until squash is tender. Drain well.

3Saute onion in bacon drippings in a large skillet.

4Combine drained squash and flour, salt, and black pepper. Add to the sauteed onion.

5Cook over medium high heat, stirring constantly with a spatula, until squash begin to brown. Add more salt and pepper if desired. Serve hot.
