Cabbage Lovers! The juice from the cabbage & other veggies gives this dish great flavor. Great vegetable side dish. You can make this vegetarian by leaving out the ham. Use any color bell pepper. I usually use green but red would taste wonderful. So good!

Ingredients For oven roasted cabbage

1 smhead of cabbage, sliced

1-2 stickcarrots, chopped

1-2 tspchicken bouillon granules
-
dashred pepper flakes

1 smonion, sliced

1bell pepper, sliced
-
ham chunks
-
butter to taste
-
salt & pepper to taste

1 tsptony chachere’s
-
1-2garlic cloves, sliced
-
onion powder & garlic powder to taste

3 Tbspwater
How To Make oven roasted cabbage

1Preheat oven to 375.

2Combine all ingredients in a large pot with a lid. Cover.

3Cook for 40 minutes to an hour. Depends on how soft or crunchy you like your cabbage. Cabbage makes its own juices.

4Once cooked, add vinegar, optional.
