With just six ingredients this delicious Oven Roasted Broccoli with lemon and Parmesan will quickly become one of your favorite sides. Just think you can get all that fabulous nutrition and plenty of great flavor all in a quick and easy recipe. I love to serve this with Grilled Marinated Chicken, Chicken Parmesan, and Turkey Meatloaf. However it goes well with any beef, pork, chicken or fish main course. Once you try this delectable way to prepare broccoli it will become a regular at your meal table.

Ingredients For oven roasted broccoli

  • 1 lb
    broccoli florets cut into bite size pieces
  • 2 Tbsp
    extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 lg
    lemon (for the juice and the zest)
  • 1/4 c
    freshly grated parmesan cheese

How To Make oven roasted broccoli

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cover baking sheets with parchment paper.

    Arrange broccoli on baking sheets making sure there is room between the bites. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle generously with salt and pepper.

    Roast for 15-20 minutes turning halfway through the cooking process. The edges should be crispy and browned.

    Place florets in a bowl and drizzle with lemon juice. Sprinkle with lemon zest and Parmesan Cheese. For best results serve promptly.
