This is how I fix asparagus to get people to try it, then they fall in love with it. It is simple and easy to fix, I roast this in place of fries on occassion.

Ingredients For oven roasted asparagus

  • 2 bunch
    fresh asparagus, washed and "snapped"
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 2 tsp
    mrs. dash
  • 1 tsp
    lowry's seasoning salt
  • 1 tsp
    ground fresh black pepper

How To Make oven roasted asparagus

  • 1
    if you bend asparagus, it will break where it needs to for cooking.

    wash and dry asparagus and put in a large bowl.
  • 3
    drizzle oil and spices over it and toss till it is well coated.
  • 4
    line a large baking sheet using parchment paper, or non stick foil. Lay asparagus in single layer.

    bake in a hot, 425 degree oven, at least 30 minutes until crispy.
