Ingredients For onion barley casserole

1/2 cmedium pearl barley

1 Tbspvegetable oil, (i prefer olive oil)

1 1/2 cwater

1 tspbeef bouillon granules
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
1/2 csliced green onions

1 can(4 ounces) whole button mushrooms, drained
How To Make onion barley casserole

1In an ovenproof skillet, saute the barley in the oil until golden brown. Stir in water, bouillon and salt; bring to a boil.

2Remove from heat; add onions and mushrooms. Cover and bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes or until the barley is tender.
