  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/4 c
    bacon drippings or 1 stick margariine

How To Make my mama's baked corn

    1. PERHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES. 2. SHUCK CORN. CUT CORN OFF COB, LEAVING ABOUT 1/8 INCH OF KERNELS ON COB. SCRAPE THE EARS AFTER KERNELS HAVE BEEN REMOVED. 3. PUT CORN, SALT AND PEPPER IN CAST IRON SKILLET AND ADD DRIPPINGS OR MARGARINE, WHICHEVER YOU OPT TO USE. ADD ENOUGH WATER TO COVER COMPLETELY. 4. BRING TO BOIL ON TOP OF STOVE (APPROXIMATELY 20 MINUTES COOKING TIME). PLACE IN OVEN FOR 1 HOUR. CHECK AFTER 30 MIINUTES; IF MORE WATER IS NEEDED AT THIS TIME ADD.
