Ingredients For mushrooms with basil cream

  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 lb
    fresh mushrooms sliced
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh basil chopped
  • 1/4 c
    white wine
  • 1/2 c
    heavy cream
  • salt and pepper
  • microgreens for garnish

How To Make mushrooms with basil cream

  • 1
    Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add the mushrooms and saute until the liquid has released. With a slotted spoon remove mushrooms to a plate and set aside.

    Add the wine to the pan and bring to a boil and reduce by half. Add the heavy cream, basil and season with salt and pepper
  • 3
    Add mushrooms back to the sauce. Warm 1 minute. serve as a side dish garnished with microgreens or serve over chicken or pork cutlets.
