I'm not sure where my mother got this recipe but it has quickly become a requested item. The flavor of the squash comes through nicely and the sausage adds just the right touch. Creamy layer is your standard creamed soups mixture w/sour cream...but its the seasoned bread crumbs on top that provides the perfect crunch to compliment it.

1 conion, minced

1 cancreamed corn

1 cancream of chicken soup

1 cancream of mushroom soup

8 ozsour cream

1 boxstove top stuffing

1 stickbutter

black pepper to taste

1Brown sausage and onion.

2Pre-cook/saute squash.

3Combine soups and sour cream.

4Layer in a buttered 3 quart casserole dish.

5Top with stove top stuffing crumbs. Dot the top with butter.

6Bake at 350 degree oven for 30-35 min.
