merry’s asparagus casserole

My mother in law Merry gave me this recipe. I had never heard of it before her. This is so easy, tasty and makes a great fill in for a spread. This can easily be halved if need be.

Ingredients For merry’s asparagus casserole

  • 4 can
    green giant asparagus
  • 2 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make merry’s asparagus casserole

    PREHEAT OVEN TO 350
  • 2
    Drain cans of asparagus. Dump out and cut in half.

    Layer first two cans of the chopped asparagus in the bottom of baking dish. Spread one can of soup on top and repeat with the next two cans of asparagus and one can of soup.

    Top the entire dish with cheese and bake until bubbly. About 20-25 minutes. I like to brown my cheese up a bit by leaving it in the oven after I turn it off. So easy and so good!
