Someone brought this to a picnic lunch years ago. She was kind enough to share the recipe with me. hope you enjoy it too.

Ingredients For marinated vegetables

3/4 cup vinegar

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 tsp. salt

1 cup sugar
-
1 tbsp. water

1 tsp. pepper
-
1 17oz. can shoe-peg corn

1 16 oz. can french-cut green beans

1 2oz. jar chopped pimento

1 cup chopped celery
-
1 finely chopped green pepper

1 chopped bunch green onions
How To Make marinated vegetables

1Combine first 6 ingredients; bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar; cool.

2Combine vegetables; then stir in vinegar mixture.

3Refrigerate, stirring occasionally.

4This is best a day after preparation, but good for a couple of weeks. This is a salad as well as a side dish vegetable.
