These are so tasty, the can be eaten alone as an appetizer or served with a steak, or top a baked potato with them and add some cheese for a real treat. Just as with my Mozzarella balls you can add or leave out any spice you want. The choice is your :-)

Ingredients For marinated mushrooms

1 lbmushrooms, washed and stems removed

5 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin

1 Tbspbalsamic vinegar

2 Tbspminced garlic

1 Tbspminced onion or shallot's

2 Tbsporegano or italian seasoning

2 Tbspthyme, dried

1/2 tspsalt
How To Make marinated mushrooms

1washed mushrooms and remove stems, Boil for 10 minutes in a pot of salted water (approx 1 tsp salt)

2drain and cool mushrooms

3combine the rest of the ingredients and mix well

4Pour over Mushrooms toss lightly& cover or use a large zip lock bag Refrigerate several hours.

5These are good cold or warmed up. they go well with a steak as a side or over the top.
