I love balsalmic vinegar in anything which makes this simple yet fresh salad a wonderful acompaniment to chicken, pork or steak hot off the grill anyday. Tangy & Refreshing!

Ingredients For marinaded tomatoes & iceburg lettuce

1/2head iceburg lettuce, torn

10red grape tomatoes

10yellow sunburst grape tomatoes

1/4 smred onion, thinly sliced
- MARINADE

1/4 cbalsalmic vinegar
-
1/4 cextra virgin olive oil
-
1/4 tspeach, salt and pepper
-
1 tspsugar
-
1 tspdried thyme leaves
-
1 clovegarlic, minced
How To Make marinaded tomatoes & iceburg lettuce

1Halve the tomatoes & thinly slice all of the red onion. * Tear the lettuce just before serving to avoid wilting.

2Combine all ingredients for the marinade and ppour into plastic baggie add onion & tomatoes and let marinade for an hour or two.

3Pour marinade over a large bed of iceberg lettuce & serve family style. *I have to give credit since I have seen something similar to this recipe from the Pioneer Woman blog. Even so, it is very good so had to share.
