Ingredients For maple prosciutto acorn squash

    acorn squash
  • 1 Tbsp
    maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 slice
    prosciutto

How To Make maple prosciutto acorn squash

    Cut the squash in half and remove the seeds. Place them cut side down on a microwave-safe plate. Cook for 7 minutes.

    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Mix the maple syrup and brown sugar together. Add the butter and place in the microwave until the butter melts. Place them cut side up on a baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the maple syrup mixture evenly into the squash.

    Place in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Meanwhile, chop up the prosciutto and cook it in a skillet until crispy.

    Remove the squash from the oven and sprinkle the prosciutto in each squash. Enjoy.
