I think this slaw tastes just like the slaw from LJS' although my mother in law says it's even better! I found this recipe by doing an online search.It's originally from one of the resturaunt secrets revealed cookbooks.

How To Make long john silver's coleslaw

1Be sure that the cabbage, carrots, and onion are chopped up into very fine pieces (about the size of rice kernels). (NOT REQUIRED, I DIDN'T)

2Combine the sugar, salt pepper, milk, mayonnaise, buttermilk, vinegar, and lemon juice, and beat until smooth.

3Add the cabbage, carrots, and onions. Mix well.

4The critical part of this cole slaw recipe is the flavor-enhancement period prior to eating. Be absolutely certain the cole slaw sits in the refrigerator for at least a couple of hours prior to serving.
