Grandma stirred this side dish up whenever she had fresh cucumbers in her garden. Its creamy and good. Very fresh tasting.

Ingredients For lizzie's cucumbers and onions

  • 1
    medium cucumber, sliced (peel if you prefer)
  • 1 sm
    sweet onion, sliced (use either red or white onions as you prefer)
  • 2 Tbsp
    mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp
    celery salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    dill weed, optional

How To Make lizzie's cucumbers and onions

  • 1
    Combine cucumber, onions, mayonnaise and vinegar. Mix well. Stir in celery salt, pepper, and dill weed, if used. Refrigerate for a couple of hours before serving for best flavor. Keeps well in frig. Makes 6 servings.
