When my boys were little I couldn't get them to eat green beans or spinach, so I started my trial and error. This is what I came up with.

Ingredients For kids vegetables

  • 1 can
    green beans or spinach or fresh spinach
  • 3 slice
    bacon
  • 1 clove
    garlic, pressed

How To Make kids vegetables

  • 1
    Cut bacon into bite-sized pieces. Cook bacon in a sauce pan until crisp; drain green beans or spinach. (if using fresh spinach, steam spinach for 5 minutes and set aside.)

    Add green beans or spinach to bacon and drippings. Press garlic into vegetables and stir until coated. Simmer for about 5 minutes or until hot.
