I was tired of basic old greens, so one day I started throwing stuff in that sounded good and this was born. It's really good! I hope you try it and enjoy it too!

Ingredients For kicked up greens

  • 1 bunch
    collard greens, chopped
  • 1 bunch
    kale, chopped
  • 1 md
    yellow onion, chopped
  • 8 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 3
    green onions, chopped
  • 3 c
    chicken broth, no salt added (or low sodium)
  • 1 tsp
    curry powder
  • 1 tsp
    cumin
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • juice from 1/2 lemon

How To Make kicked up greens

  • 1
    In a large skillet, add everything but the greens. Cook until onions begin to soften. Add greens. Cook until greens are desired tenderness.
