I found this recipe in a stack of handwritten notes I had with me when we traveled. No idea where it came from. All I wrote down was the list of ingredients. When I put them together it was so good, definately a keeper, especially with our fresh kale from the garden. I have also seen chopped fresh kale in the produce section of the grocery stores.

Ingredients For kabanzo - kale and garbanzo beans

2-3 Tbspolive oil

1 mdonion

3/4 cvegetable /chicken broth

1/2 ccooked brown rice

1 tspcumin

1/2 tsppaparika

1/4 tspsalt

1 bunchfresh kale, chopped

1 cgarbanzo beans
How To Make kabanzo - kale and garbanzo beans

1Saute onion in olive oil

2Mix in garbanzo beans, broth and cooked rice. Add cumin, paprika and salt.

3Stir in chopped kale and cook until tender.
