This is absolutley delicious. If you want it spicy add some hot sauce or calbrian chilies to the sauce

Ingredients For jamaican jerk cauliflower

  • 1
    head cauliflower broke into florets.
  • BATTER
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    rice flour
  • 1 Tbsp
    nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    each onion powder, & paprika
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • JERK SAUCE
  • 2
    green onions chopped
  • clove
    garlic minced
  • 2 tsp
    grated ginger
  • 6
    whole allspice
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1 tsp
    dry thyme
  • 1/4 c
    each soy sauce, orange juice, tomato sauce and sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    molasses
  • juice of 1 lime
  • green onions to garnish

How To Make jamaican jerk cauliflower

    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray. Set a side.

    Combine the batter ingredients together in a bowl.and whisk to form a loose batter. Dip each floret into the batter and place on the baking sheet. Brush with olive oil and bake 30 minutes until golden and crisp turning half way.

    While the cauliflower is baking make the sauce. Put all the ingredients for the sauce together in a food processor.Process until smooth. Transfer to a saucepand and cook until thickened. About 5 minutes. Strain through a fine mesh strainer.

    Toss the cauliflower with the sauce and garnish with green onions.
