This is a great salad and very easy to make. It incorporates all my favorite things, peas, carrots, celery cheese, zucchini, sour cream, and dill weed mixed with the pasta.

Ingredients For hubcap pasta salad

  • SALAD:
  • 16 oz
    pkg. wagon wheel pasta, cooked for 7 minutes, drained
  • 1/2 lb
    sharp cheddar cheese, diced
  • 1 c
    thawed petite peas
  • 1 c
    carrots, thinly sliced crosswise
  • 1 c
    baby zucchini, thinly sliced crosswise
  • 1 c
    celery, thinly sliced
  • 1 md
    red bell pepper, cored, seeded and diced
  • DRESSING:
  • 2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 c
    dairy sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp
    yellow salad mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    dill weed
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper

How To Make hubcap pasta salad

  • 1
    Mix all salad ingredients in a large bowl. Blend all dressing ingredients in small bowl. Fold dressing into salad, Store in refrigerator. --- Dressing is excellent for potato salad too!
