Ingredients For hickory smoked beans

  • 6
    slices bacon
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 2
    (16-18 oz) cans pork and beans
  • 1/2 c
    light molasses
  • 1/2 c
    ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp
    grey poupon mustard
  • 2 tsp
    liquid smoke flavoring

How To Make hickory smoked beans

  • 1
    Cook bacon and remove from pan. Cook onion and drain grease. Add remaining ingredients and cook until bubbling.

    Reduce heat and cook uncovered for 30 mins--stirring occasionally. Top with crumbled bacon and serve.
