Ingredients For hampshire mashed potatoes

1 1/2 lbrusset potatoes

3 cwater

1 tspsalt

3/4 cknudsen hampshire sour cream

2 Tbspbutter

salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make hampshire mashed potatoes

1Peel and quarter potatoes.

2Cook potatoes in boiling salted water until they break apart when pierced with a fork.

3Drain the liquid from the potatoes (reserve it for gravy if you wish) and return the potatoes to low heat to dry any moisture remaining.

4Scoop the sour cream into the bottom of the pan with the potatoes and allow to heat. Add butter.

5Whip potatoes with electric mixer until light, smooth and fluffy. Add additional salt if necessary.
