This is such a simple and classic recipe, but it's one of my guilty pleasures! I especially love it at Thanksgiving, and taking it to church pot-lucks. Who DOESN'T love those crunchy french fried onions???

No corners are cut here! This is the classic green bean casserole recipe and it's wonderful.

Ingredients For guilty green bean casserole

  • 1 1/3 c
    french fried onions
  • 2 can
    green beans, drained, (14 1/2 oz)
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 1/8 tsp
    black pepper

How To Make guilty green bean casserole

  • 1
    Mix soup and milk in a large bowl.
  • 2
    Add pepper, beans and 2/3 cup onions. Pour in a 1 1/2 quart casserole.

    Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Top with remaining onions.
