1 lbgreen tomatoes

1 tspred pepper, ground

1/2 ccream

oil, for frying

salt and pepper to taste
How To Make green tomatoes, fried

1Core and cut green tomatoes.

2The skin may be a problem depending upon the age of the tomatoes; if necessary, peel the skins.

3Fry the tomatoes until they become translucient but not mushy.

4Season and add the pepper for colour; add the cream being careful that it does not curdle.
