Ingredients For green beans provencal

1 lbfresh green beans

4 slicebacon

1/2 conion, chopped

1/2 ccelery, chopped

2tomatoes, peeled and cut into wedges

1 tspsalt

1/2 tspdried oregano leaves

1/8 tsppepper
How To Make green beans provencal

1Wash beans and remove the strings. Cut the beans into 1 1/2 inch pieces; set aside.

2Cook the bacon in a large skillet until crisp; remove bacon, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings in the skillet. Crumble the bacon, and set aside.

3Saute onion and celery in drippings until tender, Add the green beansm tomato, salt, oregano, and pepper. Cover and cook over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until the beans are tender, Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
