  • 1 sm
    can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp
    cooking oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 pkg
    french-cut frozen green beans
  • 1 tsp
    sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make green beans oriental

  • 1
    Saute water chestnuts until golden brown, add soy sauce, beans and sugar. Cook over low heat until beans are just tender-crisp, and still bright green, separating them with a fork as they defrost. Add salt and pepper to taste. Makes 4 servings.
