my son isn't a fan of green beans but loves arrabiata sauce. this is one of his favorites and gets him to eat his green beans. Arrabiate is a spicy tomato pasta sauce. This is a variation that is simple and delicious.

2 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin

3 clovefinely minced garlic

1 Tbspred chili flakes (less if you have a sensitive pallet

2 ptcherry tomatoes halved

1 lbfresh green beans

salt and pepper to taste
How To Make green beans arrabiata (angry green beans)

1in a 2 quart sauce pan bring water and salt to a boil. add green beans and cook for approximately 10 minutes. the green beans should be firm to the touch still.

2in a large pan over medium heat add olive oil. add garlic and chili flakes until fragrant, approximately one minute.

3add tomatoes and cook until soft, 7 - 10 minutes. add green beans and season with salt and pepper. cover and cook on low heat for another 5 - 10 minutes. adjust seasonings to taste and serve.
