This is seriously my fav green bean casserole and I got the recipe from my Momma.

Ingredients For green bean casserole

  • 3 can
    large cans of french style green beans, drained
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 box
    cheddar french fried onions
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    pepper

How To Make green bean casserole

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray casserole dish with PAM.

    Combine cream cheese (softened) and soup. I find it easiest to do this in a small sauce pan on low heat on stove top.

    Combine green beans, sauce mixture and 1/2 box of cheddar french fried onions. Once gently tossed, spread evenly into casserole dish. Bake for 20 min.

    Top with remainder of Cheddar french fried onions. Bake for 5-10 min. Let cool 5 min then serve.
