I found this recipe in the first WW cookbook I bought. I have made it several times over the years.

Ingredients For greek green beans

1 lbgreen beans, trimmed and halved

14 1/2 ozcan diced tomatoes (no salt added)

1onion, coarsely chopped

1small all-purpose potato, cubed
-
2 tspdried oregano
-
2 tspolive oil, extra virgin
-
1/4 tspsalt (optional, i omit)

1/4 tspfreeshly ground black pepper
-
freshly grated parmesan cheese
How To Make greek green beans

1In a large nonstick saucepan, bring the beans, tomatoes, onions, potato, oregano, oil, salt and pepper to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer, covered, stirring as needed, until the vegetables are tender ad the flavors are blended, about 1 hour. Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
