Ingredients For grannies creamed cabbage

lghead of cabbage

pt1 pint of whole milk

Tbsp5 tablespoons of butter or low fat olive based butter

dashsalt and pepper
-
dashcelery salt
- CREAMED CABBAGE

1 ptone half cup of water
How To Make grannies creamed cabbage

1Quarter the cabbage then slice vertically to make long strips, use the whole cabbage. Wash the cabbage well first to remove any grime. Set aside.

2Pour your water milk, into a stew pot. Bring to a mild boil then turn down the heat to simmer.

3Add butter,salt and pepper, celery seed and then the cabbage strips. Then simmer for 45 minutes taking the lid off the last 20 minutes' Tastes great with meatloaf and cresent rolls.
