golden crumb broccoli cauliflower

Came across this recipe and tweaked it a bit to use what I had on hand. I used 2 slices of cheese, but I think it could have been cheesier! My husband and I both love it! The pic was taken prior to baking.

3/4 lbbroccoli, fresh

1 cancream of mushroom soup

1/2 cmayonnaise

2-4 slicewhite american cheese

1 1/2 tsplemon juice

1/3 cbutter crakers, crushed

3/4 lbcauliflower, small florets

1 tsppaprika

salt and pepper
How To Make golden crumb broccoli cauliflower

1Cut up broccoli and cauliflower to make about 6 cups.

2In saucepan, cook broccoli and cauliflower, uncovered, in small amount of boiling, salted water for 10 to 15 minutes; drain well.

3Turn into a 1 1/2-quart casserole.

4Break cheese into small pieces.

5Mix soup, mayonnaise, cheese, and lemon juice; Add salt and pepper as desired; pour over veggies and top with crushed crackers. Sprinkle paprika over the top.

6Bake uncovered, at 400, for 25 minutes.
