I love this recipe as a delicious hors d'voures when entertaining friends and family for a lite supper meal. This dish will put a smile on your guests faces and a thrill in their tummies! I guarantee!

Ingredients For fried squash

1/2 coil

3 to 4squash, cleaned and cut in 1/4th inch slices

salt each squash slice on both sides, to taste

1/2 cplain flour

1/2 ccornmeal
How To Make fried squash

1After sprinkling both sides of each squash slice, allow the salt to draw out beads of moisture from each squash piece. This should take 10 to 15 minutes.

2Combine flour and cornmeal; coat each piece of squash in the flour/cornmeal mixture, coating both sides.

3Pour oil in teflon skillet and fry prepared squash on medium high heat til golden on both sides.

4Drain the fried squash on paper towels and serve. Enjoy!
