fried green tomatoes
(3 ratings)
This is a wonderful Southern dish that I grew up enjoying. My mother used to always cook these in the summertime when she had an abundance of tomatoes and I have never gotten tired of them. They don't work with ripe tomatoes, only green. If you have never had them before, give them a try and put a little south in your mouth....
